I think I have an obsession with before and after projects!

Remember yesterday when I told you all I had some other items that I got at the GW Boutique...well here they are! I think it's time for a re-do or two!

The black drawer/cubby I paid $9.00 for it and Pat at work asked me if I would trade with her. We bought her a white one for her B-day last year and now she wants to go black...I told her that was fine. I just wanted to show you guys first! The little stool and basket was only $5.00 for both! And the 2 stars, well they were a little on the high side. I am going to attach them to a piece of wood, (which by the way I am getting free, from my good friends at the local hardwood store...Thanks Bill and Brent, you guys ROCK!) paint it, then hopefully add a few words to it...if I can find some kind of stencil!

Also I loved all my comments from  my shelf post...and it seemed like the most asked question was "where you gonna put it?". Well to be honest...I don't know! I start projects like this to have something to paint and craft with, but when I get finished with it...I never know what to do with them! LOL!

If I can't find a place for these items...I really need to find them a good home! Know a good buyer? That's it! I have a obsession, I love turning a hot mess... into a prim creation!

  2. Hi Geesha, love your finds. That drawer cubby is great. The stool and basket will be fun makeovers too.
I was also going to mention Folk Art From the Harbor. I have bought several stencils from her...good quality and most are $5.99. She has a LARGE selection.
The tobacco stick curtain rods sound cute, but you're right, wouldn't work in my situation.
    Have great day!!

  3. Hi Geesha! Guilty~ LOL! I too have bought things and STILL have no idea as to where I will put them! LOL! This has gone on for years, hence my problem! Some things are easy to know, others, not so easy!
I only asked because I thought perhaps you had a spot in mind!
    You will figure it out.
    Have a great day!

  4. I totally understand. I have several LARGE boxes of projects in our garage now, just waiting for decent weather so I can work on them. Will I be able to use everything I re-do? I don't know, but I know I think they have good bones and many possibilities. I, too, love the transformation; love making something great out of something not so great. Your make-overs are awesome!
