Hey everyone! Well to put it sweetly, I am tired!!!!! I know I have not been on top of my game lately....I have missed a whole week here in blogland, and to be honest I have not even read the first post of any of my dear followers. I must apologize...I want be mad if no one leaves me a comment...I would completely understand! I think this last trimester is going to kick my butt!


This week I got my hubby busy....we have not even started on the baby's room. AH! It was a mess we had been using this room as storage....so you can imagine! The hubby bought us a storage barn awhile back and it's feeling up fast....we are down sizing next week! CAN YOU SAY GOODWILL!!

Ok so here is the verdict....pink carpet, your outta here!

Quick fix $2.00 each @ Big Lots!!

I really wanted a nice table lamp...

We found this one @ TJ Max for $39.99...thought we hit the jackpot...then found one at Kmart with no lampshade for $14.00 .  This one just had a little more bling Hey I could go back and get the one from Pier One it was a 159.00!

Oh and don't be mad all my kindred prims, but.... we are going modern for the baby's room and BLUE?????

Ok so I am really not 100% sure on the colors: Blue, brown, beige, green, and white....will see!

By the way I really found this really nice chair for 20.00. I didn't buy it, I didn't have the truck...so if it is still there next week...I guess it's just meant to be!!!! Keep your fingers crossed!

Hello peeps...Awh, how nice to have a much needed 3 day weekend! Just in time to do some projects too...speaking of projects, I finished this one up today! I really liked this little bench to begin with (I love Noah's ark theme!) but, it just didn't match my prim decor...plus it was looking a little worn out. I'm not complaining...it took some time to distress "THE NEW LOOK", lol! I also only own one stencil...it has fruit and this little number on it. So I tried my hand at it. (I think I like stenciling) and with that said I want to give a very big thank you to Michelle and Lorna for suggesting the Folk Art From The Harbor . (They really do have some nice stencils and are priced just right...yes! A win, win!)  http://www.folkartfromtheharbor.com/catalog.php?page=4&category=69. I can't wait to get my new stencils!!   I wish you could really see this re-do piece. The camera/lighting, really doesn't do it justice..boo! I have done a few re-dos in my day...but I have to say so far this has been one of my favorite "before and afters" Oh well maybe if you click on the picture to make it bigger you will be able to see better. I think it turned out very prim! I hope you like it....

I think I have an obsession with before and after projects!

Remember yesterday when I told you all I had some other items that I got at the GW Boutique...well here they are! I think it's time for a re-do or two!

The black drawer/cubby I paid $9.00 for it and Pat at work asked me if I would trade with her. We bought her a white one for her B-day last year and now she wants to go black...I told her that was fine. I just wanted to show you guys first! The little stool and basket was only $5.00 for both! And the 2 stars, well they were a little on the high side. I am going to attach them to a piece of wood, (which by the way I am getting free, from my good friends at the local hardwood store...Thanks Bill and Brent, you guys ROCK!) paint it, then hopefully add a few words to it...if I can find some kind of stencil!

Also I loved all my comments from  my shelf post...and it seemed like the most asked question was "where you gonna put it?". Well to be honest...I don't know! I start projects like this to have something to paint and craft with, but when I get finished with it...I never know what to do with them! LOL! 

If I can't find a place for these items...I really need to find them a good home! Know a good buyer? That's it! I have a obsession, I love turning a hot mess... into a prim creation!

Hey my fellow kindred! I have been so busy here lately...I wish there were more hours in a day! Whew...I love reading and commenting on every ones blogs, but  for some reason I just seem to be moving back wards instead of for wards! So believe me when I get a chance I'll have to play catch up! I  did however go thrifting (oh wait...Jackie one of the bank gals calls it, The G W Boutique)  on my lunch break today, and hit the jackpot! I found so many cute prim pieces...ok not all prim, but with a little imagination, they would be primtastic!

Here is a shelf that I bought....

It was blue...and it was ok looking, but not great.  It had some kind of stain on it. Plus...

It had A B C on one side and 1 2 3 on the other...Bye, Bye #'s and letters!

then I used red for my top coat. 1st coat

2nd coat...I almost ran out!!!

Well I wish I could take credit for these two creations, but I can't! I don't know if these pictures are copyright... but if they are, I will be glad to remove them! However, I must say that if you are the creator of these fine treasures I want you to know...they are adorable!!

As everyone knows Misi was having a Valentine chain and I wanted to be part of the action... but the truth is I just took all my Christmas stuff down Uhmm...yesterday! Yeah, I thought it would be all packed up this weekend...but where I did some thrifting this year and got some really good deals. I had to much stuff, and not enough totes to put  them away in! Oops! So I had to make a little trip to the dollar store during my lunch hour at work.

Also we, I mean I, got snowed in this weekend and was given strict orders that I was not allowed to leave the house...period! My husband said that he has seen my driving,  and that Iwouldn't make it 5 feet in that mess outside (the snow & ice)  before I would end up in a ditch some where!

He had drill this weekend so...I spent all my time well on the computer looking at blogs and dreaming of ideas! And that's when I ran across those adorable crafts!

I hope to put my Valentine's day decor up real soon, and then I'll post a few pic's... but till then I have enjoyed admiring every ones pretty things, out their in blogland...Thanks Misi for such a great idea, I believe it worked! I got lots of inspiration looking at y'alls V-day decorations!

Ok where to begin...OHH! I know PENNY RUG! I have wanted to learn how to make one of these for a year now and I just got tired of not knowing how and YouTube it...Nothing! So after sight, after sight. And blog after blog I found a video...I need video. I am a show me kinda of gal, and  then show me again...and again...ok NOW let me have a crack at it! I was so excited...I was jumping, screaming...Lord I was ready to shout HALLELUJAH! Noah who was on the couch...just started laughing at me when he saw me start shaking my BOOTY and doing my little "I did it" cheer!
